Alaska Airlines - Flight Operations Regulatory Compliance & Certificate Program Manager (05.2024 - Present)

The Flight Operations Regulatory Compliance & Certificate Program Manager is the lead subject matter expert regarding the Federal Register. This role monitors the Federal Register for changes to Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and/or Operations Specifications (OpSpecs) and informs and ensures each discipline at Alaska Airlines (AS) has implemented changes as appropriate. As an individual contributor, this role manages numerous flight operations regulatory compliance and certificate management activities for AS. This role represents Alaska Airlines at Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Headquarters and the local Certificate Management Office (CMO) for guidance material used by industry to implement and maintain compliance requirements.

Horizon Air - Manager Flight Operations Regulatory Compliance (02.2023 - 05.2024)

The Flight Operations Regulatory Compliance Program Manager is a subject matter expert in the safety systems, regulations, processes, and protocols that ensures compliance with all applicable regulations and safety of flight at Horizon Air. This role is responsible for investigations of non-compliances and the creation of corrective actions, preventative plans and tracking to reduce further occurrences. This individual contributor collaborates with process owners to establish policy and procedures in response to incidents, and exercises considerable judgment to make decisions to assess safety and compliance risks, manage and oversee regulatory compliance programs such as the Jumpseat Access Program, Fuel Program, internal and external audits, etc.

Horizon Air - Flight Operations AQP Data Analyst (04.2015 - 02.2023)

Responsible for analyzing and summarizing pilot training data, course critique, and training metric data in support of the company's Advanced Qualification Program. Responsibilities included data management activities (developing and maintaining queries, data extracts, and data validation to meet program requirements in accordance with AC 120-54A.) Participating in multi-divisional data analysis in support of the company SMS program, and other integration activities to promote continual safety enhancements to the operation and training program. Developed consumables for organizational leaders utilizing Tableau Data Visualization software, SharePoint, and Adobe Creative Cloud. Deliverables included online dashboards, ad-hoc analysis/reports, weekly, monthly, quarterly reports, as well as a program-comprehensive annual report. 

Horizon Air - Flight Operations Technical Publications (01.2014 03.2015)

Prepared all assigned Company documentation and ensured accurate completion, consistent with regulatory compliance. Edited, revised, and proofread Company manuals and forms. Administrated the Company's Integrated Subject Attribute Tracking (ISAT) database and managed user accounts. Coordinated print jobs with external vendors; supervised printing of limited-distribution revisions in house. Posted applicable manuals & other company documentation to Company internet/intranet sites, CAVOK ISAT site, and SharePoint (FAA exchange server). 

Alaska Airlines - Pilot Intern - Chief Pilot's Office

Assisted the Chief Pilot with all aspects of operations within the office. Represented the Airline for industry events, recruiting activities, assisted with oral evaluations and initial simulator evaluations during pilot interviews. Attended the complete Bombardier Q400 pilot class.

Horizon Air Paperless Flight Deck - worked closely with CMO to transition the company aircraft to an iPad-based solution for company manuals , as well as Jeppesen charts.

Embraer E175 Induction Project - large scale, company-wide project consisting of adding the Embraer E175 type to the company's certificate.
